* A Fast-response team of salvage divers is on 24 hour standby to go out to any craft in distress and conduct emergency 

   underwater repairs at sea, including clearing of netting and rope from shafts and rudders and stopping the ingress of water - 

   often saving vessel owners the cost of towing and the consequental loss of valuable fishing or charter time.

* Two larger response craft are available on short notice/ standby along the Western Cape Coast, with the capability to work up

   to 100 nautical miles offshore in support of a vessel in difficulties.

*  A highly mobile inshore fleet of semi-rigid Inflatable craft, towed by 4x4's, operates in all coastal surf zones and on inland     

     water bodies - to attend to small craft and other emergencies.

* This division has extensive experience in sensitive underwater forensic operations and is able to assist maritime authorities and

   insurers in establishing the cause of distress or claim.

* All crews are skilled in pollution control, engine & equipment preservation techniques and operate to the highest standards of

   safety possible.
